Blacks' Women's Wing is proud to have contributed many of its own to the Singapore women's national team - the Merlions (NWT) and the National Development Squad (NDT).

Serena Yeoh captained the Merlions to the semi finals of the Asia Cup at the Hong Kong International Sevens 2001, beating Arabian Gulf and Thailand. In 2003, Jane Lee Yen Ling lead the Merlions to become plate winners in the same tournament. 2004 saw Serena take the Merlions to their greatest achievement todate, coming in 2nd to the Asian rugby Giants, Kazakstan at the Asian Women's Championships 2004 in Amalty, Kazakstan.
